Polyplastics is actively engaging in social contribution activities worldwide, tailored to meet local needs. These initiatives are led by members of the CSR promotion team at each overseas group company. The slogan guiding these efforts is “Harmony & Sustainability for the Future.” In this article, we will share some of the latest reports on these initiatives from around the world.

【Malaysia】 The Earth Hero Event

In Malaysia, the “Earth Hero” event took place in July, promoting health and community engagement. Employees and their families participated, with over 100 individuals in attendance.
This event was organized at a park near the plant, where the participants engaged in activities such as Zumba, aerobics, and jogging. After that, they planted trees and painted curbs as part of the park’s conservation efforts.

【HongKong】Hunger Lunch

In Hong Kong, a “Hunger Lunch” event was held in July, where participants skipped their lunch during the lunch break to relate to the hardships faced by those living in poverty and hunger. Sixteen employees took part in this initiative, using the time to engage in an open discussion exploring CSR.

【Kaohsiung】 Donation Campaign for Children in Africa

In Kaohsiung, a donation campaign was held in July to support children in Africa. The campaign collected two boxes of clothing, one box of bags, and one box of shoes, totaling four boxes. These items were donated to children in Africa through a charitable organization.

We will continue to engage in social contribution activities as a unified Polyplastics Group to become a company that can contribute to a better future society.
