Quantitative Evaluation of Environmental Conservation

With the aim of facilitating the transparency of our activities and the efficiency of our environmental conservation efforts, since FY2002, Polyplastics has carried out environmental accounting focused on quantitatively ascertaining and assessing environmental conservation-related investment, expenses, and outcomes.
Our environmental accounting is conducted in accordance with the “Environmental Accounting Guidelines 2005” issued by the Japanese Ministry of the Environment.
Initiative details and environmental conservation results can be found on the relevant pages linked to in the table below.
“Investments” is the actual value of environmental conservation-related capital investment for the fiscal year.
“Costs” is the actual value of environmental conservation-related depreciation, running costs, labor costs, etc.
